Synthetic rubber is a rubber that is derived not from natural or man-made, due to its advantages compared to natural rubber, such as oil resistance, rubber is widely used for the manufacture of rubber tubing for oil and gasoline, seals, gaskets. CR rubber has the advantage of fire retardant, for the manufacture of rubber tubing, cable wrapping, seals, gaskets, belts / conveyor. IR resistant type of gas used to mix the manufacture of motor vehicle tires, pads electrical wiring, as well as the coating of oil or fat storage tanks.

The nature of the synthetic rubber is as follows:

  • Has a perfect elasticity or resilience.
  • Have a good plasticity, so easy to be processed.
  • Having a power high wear
  • Not easy to heat (low heat build-up)
  • Has a high resistance to cracking (groove cracking resistance)

Synthetic rubber is used in general and in particular:

Synthetic rubber for general purpose: SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber), BR (Butadiene Rubber) or PR (Polybutadiene Rubber), IR (isoprene rubber).

Synthetic rubber for special purposes, such as rubber resistant to oil, oxidation, heat or high temperatures, and impermeable to gases. Among IIR (Isobutene isoprene rubber), NBR (Nytrite Butadine Rubber), CR (Chloroprene Rubber), and EPR (Etylene Propylene Rubber).
